Our sympathies extended to the families of…Service Friday for Maggie Mae Anderson

Funeral services for Maggie Mae (Hall) Anderson will be Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Marylin Pratt offi ciating. Family night will be Thursday, April 14, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 16, 1924 to Allington Hall and Ida Watson at Atoka, OK and passed away April 9, 2022 at Coalgate at the age of 98 years and 24 days. She attended school at Wheelock Academy and married Willie Anderson. He preceded her in death.

Maggie was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in Coalgate. She was active with the Choctaw Elders and enjoyed going on different trips with them. Maggie liked to watch TV and decorate with fl owers.

Survivors include a son, David Anderson and wife Patricia of Ada, OK; daughters, Jeanette Anderson and Vickie Anderson, both of Coalgate; grandchildren, Donnie Anderson, Ronnie Anderson and wife Ashley, all of Coalgate, Enessa Scott and husband James of Durant, Steven Anderson and wife Shelly of Evanson, WY, Tanya Vallejo and spouse Frankie of Colorado Springs, CO, Margaret Tate and spouse Bennett of Greensburg, LA, Penny Anderson of TN, Anita Anderson of Ada, OK and David Chunky Anderson of KS; along with numerous greatgrandchildren and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allington Hall and Ida Watson; daughters, Ida Anderson and Mary Roberts; sons, Aaron Anderson, Gary Anderson and wife, Regina Anderson, and Don Anderson; grandchildren, Dean Anderson, Lisa Anderson, Isabinda Anderson and Angel Cruz; and sisters, Betty Cole and Alice Foloto.

Casketbearers will be Donnie Anderson, Ronnie Anderson, Steven Anderson, David Scott, Chad Ratcliff and Preston Cole.
