Service Thursday for Bobbie Ruth Ernest

Graveside services for Bobbie Ruth (Hooker) Ernest, a Wardville resident, will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.at Finley Cemetery in Finley, Oklahoma with Pastor Jeremy Parham officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. for family only. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ernest was born October 16, 1937 to William Randolph, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Morrison) Hooker at Finley, OK and passed away October 22, 2021 at Wardville, OK at the age of 84 years and 6 days. She graduated from Finley High School and was a Beautician where she owned her own Beauty Shop. Bobbie was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. She was a big Elvis fan and enjoyed fishing, yard work and roses. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Harmon of Boerne, TX, Kimberly Tipsword and husband Virgil of Kiowa, OK; sons, Thomas Maples of Coalgate, OK, and Michael Ernest of Boerne, TX; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Swearing and JoeAnn Boles, both of Midwest City; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dearly loved friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Randolph, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Morrison) Hooker; brother, W. R. Hooker; sister, Janette Porgeman; and husbands, Tom Maples and Michael Ernest.
