Service held for Sherry Lynn Morris

Memorial services for Sherry Lynn (Smallwood) Morris, a Blanchard resident, were held Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Kendall Knight officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Morris was born October 15, 1955 to Oscar Jerome and Wilma Janette (Yother) Smallwood at Grand Prairie, TX and passed away October 15, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 66 years. She graduated from US Grant in Oklahoma City and also attended East Central University in Ada, OK. Sherry was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and loved taking care of her grandson, her goats and her little dog.

She is survived by her daughter, Shedean Lemons and husband, Mike of Blanchard, OK; son, Dennis Morris, Jr of Luther, OK; grandson, Hunter Lemons of Blanchard, OK; granddaughter, Michaele Lemons of Seattle, WA; and brother, Stevie Smallwood of OKC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Jerome and Wilma Janette (Yother) Smallwood and brothers, Randy Smallwood and Ricky Smallwood.
