Service held for Timothy Lee Hefley

Funeral services for Timothy Lee Hefley, a Coalgate resident, were held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor David Unsell officiating. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hefley was born September 16, 1958 to Jep and Majorie May (Brecheen) Hefley at Rock Port, TX and passed away August 11, 2020 at Oklahoma City at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 26 days. He attended Coalgate and graduated from River Ridge High School in Metarie, LA. Timothy was a driller in the oil field. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed movies, music and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his children, Dustin Gilmore of Little Ax, OK, Timber L. Hefley of Coalgate, Talon C. Hefley of Oklahoma City, Trayzr Hefley and Caleb Hefley, both of Coalgate; granddaughters, Harper Gilmore, Echo Gilmore, both of Little Ax, OK and Anna Wilson of Coalgate; brother, Michael Hefley and wife Vickie of Coalgate; sister, Terry McCreary of Oklahoma City; nephews, Coby McCeary of Oklahoma City and Bobby Gaylor and wife Heridy of Wichita, KS; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Kalandra Gaylor and nephew, Ralynn Thompson.

Casketbearers were Leon Matthews, Jim Shockey, Mike Dudley, Trent Underwood, Tom Heck, Tommy Wood and Joe Childress. Honorary bearers were Gary Ridley and Randy Heck.
