Service held for William Chad Welch

Funeral services for William Chad Welch, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Evangelist Marylin Pratt officiating. Interment was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Welch was born September 27, 1981 to Bill and Gloria Faye (Cummins) Welch at Oklahoma City and passed away July 9, 2020 at Oklahoma City at the age of 38 years, 9 months and 12 days. He attended Cottonwood, Olney and Coalgate High School. Chad was a roustabout in the Oilfield business. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping, and visiting with friends. His greatest joy was his boys and spending time with them.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Gloria Faye (Cummins) Welch of Coalgate; sons, Christian Flint-Welch, Colby Welch, and Levi Welch all of Coalgate; granddaughter, Kayla Flint-Welch; sister, Summer Cioni and husband Adam of Centrahoma; brother, Kevin Milam and wife Kristy of Tushka, OK and Shawn Welch of OKC; along with nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Lydia Cummins; Aunt Joy Cummins; paternal grandmother, Virginia Hyatt; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Welch and Uncle Kenny Welch.

Casketbearers were Kevin Milam, Ben Cummins, James Welch, Adam Cioni, and Chase Roebuck.
