Service held for Margaret Ann Sandmann

Graveside services for Margaret Ann Sandmann, 91, of Sherman, TX, formerly of Ada, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Coalgate Cemetery with Rev. Brian Matthews officiating.

Mrs. Sandmann passed away May 22, 2020 in Sherman. She was born October 27, 1928 in Coalgate, OK to Charley and Blanche Flahaut Lanoy. She graduated from Coalgate High School and East Central University.

Margaret married Paul Walter Sandmann on December 6, 1947 in Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Ada, OK and was a first grade school teacher at Homer Elementary for 21 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her son, Paul Michael; and brothers Albert, Earnest, and Leon Lanoy.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Sandmann and wife Susan of McKinney, TX; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Sandmann of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
