Bertha Bernice (Wheeler) Stephenson

Graveside services for Bertha Bernice (Wheeler) Stephenson, were held Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Coal-gate Cemetery with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stephenson was born November 14, 1915 to William and Pearl Ada (Jones) Wheeler in Coal-gate and passed away April 23, 2019 at the age of 103 years, 5 months

and 9 days. She graduated from high school and was a homemaker. Bernice

married Edward George Stephenson on December 24, 1936 at Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death November 23, 1986. Bernice enjoyed doing outside work.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Hamilton and Pearl Ada (Jones) Wheeler.
