Service Friday for Darren Scott Machado

Services for Darren Scott Machado, a Coal-gate resident, will be held Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at South Atoka Church of Christ with Christy Machado officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Darren was born

February 6, 1967 to Wilbur and Joyce (Buchanan) Machado at Antioch, CA and passed away March 29, 2019 at Coalgate at the age of 52 years, 1 month and 24 days. He attended and graduated from Antioch High School in 1985. Darren was a warehouse manager and enjoyed baseball, coaching, music, video games and his cats.

Survivors include his parents, Wilbur Joseph and Joyce (Buchanan) Machado; sister, Christy Machado of Coalgate; brother, Michael Mach-ado and wife Dorothy of Ft. Worth, TX; nieces and nephews, De-nae Miller and Ronnie Miller, both of Coalgate, Lexi Miller of Atoka, Dante Machado and Dylan Machado,

both of Ft. Worth, TX; great nephew, Henson Miller and Blaze Smith, both of Coalgate; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunts, Pam Alioto, Sandra Duggan, Freda Eastridge and his grandparents.
