Services held for Darla Jo Vick

Services for Darla Jo (Franks) Vick, 60, of Coalgate were held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma. Officiating was Charles Collett assisted by Bryan Franks. Burial followed at Riley Cemetery.

Darla passed away January 31, 2022 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 20 days. She was born August 11, 1961 to Arlie Theodore and Inola Mae Coffee (Franks) at Coalgate, OK.

She attended Coalgate High School. She married Reece Curtis Vick on April 1, 1999 at Ada, OK and they spent 22 wonderful years together.

Darla was a loving housewife and a member of the Coalgate Church of Christ. She liked to sew and work in her flowerbeds. Her favorite flowers were hibiscus and mums. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s ball games and loved and cherished time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Reece Curtis Vick of the home in Coalgate, OK; daughters, Ericka Crow and Jerry Beller of Stringtown, OK, Rebecca Crow-Giles and husband Bobby Giles of Coalgate, OK, and Magen Maples and boyfriend Harley Hamlin of Stringtown, OK; grandchildren, Brendon, Kaitlyn, Maeson, Darien, Kynnidi, Nevaeh, Brance, Ali, Skylee, Jade, Triton and JoJo; step-grandchildren, Shelbie, Bobby, Delianne, Garrett, Ariana, Athena and Billie; great-grandchild, Brenlee; sisters, Julie Hampton and husband Marvin of Coalgate, OK, Donna Guinn and husband Gary of Coalgate, OK; brother, Arlis Franks and wife Linda of Coalgate, OK; brothers-in law, Donald Vick and wife Tabitha of Tupelo, OK, Daniel Vick and wife Katie of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dearly loved friends,

Darla was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie Theodore and Inola Mae (Coffee) Franks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reece Carl and Wanda Lou Vick; brothers, Johnnie Franks and Bobby Franks; and grandson, Kevyn Morris.

Casketbearers were Brendon Morris, Marson Crow-Riley, Darien Sightler, Brance Crow, Triton Pope, Cody Hammons, and Jaocob Ryan.

Honorary casketbearers were Bryan Franks, Marvin Hampton Jr, Danny Franks, Lucas Guinn, Tim Guinn, and Matthew Guinn.

Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Coalgate, OK.
