Services to be held for Edward Farley

Family will have services for Ellis Edward Farley, a longtime Coalgate resident at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Coalgate Cemetery.

Ellis was born April 23, 1954 to Edward Henry and Loretta Mae (Phipps) Farley at Coalgate and passed away September 14, 2023 at Coalgate at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 22 days. He graduated from Coalgate High School Class of ‘72 and was a deck hand in the Oilfield. Ellis married Tammie Barnett on February 22, 1974 and together they had two beautiful children. Ellis was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and arrowhead hunting.

Survivors include a son, Jason Ellis Farley of Coalgate; daughter, Farra Renee Farley of Coalgate; grandchildren, Tyanna Adams and husband Dustin of Coalgate, Katy Jamison and husband Derek, Trapper Farley, Gunner Farley all of Eagletown, OK, Triston Marlow and Zeak Marlow, both of Coalgate; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Cendy Romero of Clarksville, TN, Sue Wheat and husband Orval of Kenta, OK and Sylvia Hulen and husband Roger of Asher, OK; brother, Roger Hedgecock of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Henry and Loretta Mae (Phipps) Farley.
