Service today for Beverly JoAn Lane
Funeral services for Beverly JoAn (Fawver) Lane, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, will be held Wednesday, (today), March 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Bro. Bartt Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Stringtown, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lane was born September 9, 1940 to Jessie and Alice M. (Levulett) Fawver at Eugene, OR, and passed away February 26, 2022 at Atoka, OK at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 17 days. She attended school and married Tommy Murry Lane July 3, 1956 at Jacksonville, OR. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before Tommy passed on March 9, 2020. Beverly worked for Colonial Living Center for 23 years in housekeeping. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Harmony Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, working in her flower garden, quilting, crafting and genealogy.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Crow and husband, John of Atoka, OK; son, Clay Lane and wife, Betty of Coalgate, OK; grandchildren, Chastity Turner and husband Scott of Wichita Falls, TX, Kayla Lane, Stefanie Lane, both of Coalgate, Nathaniel Jones of Lane, OK, Erica Crow and fiance Jerry of Stringtown, OK, Rebecca Crow of Coalgate and Megan Crow of Stringtown, OK; sixteen greatgrandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, Brighton Grace Williams and Brenlee Morris; sisters-in-law, Joan Hunter of Hartshorne, OK, Janice Lane and Hazel Lane, both of Atoka; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Murry Lane; parents, Jessie and Alice M. (Levulett) Fawver; grandson, Dakota Lane; greatgrandson, Kevyn Morris; sisters, Caroline Crowson, Marie Rainey; brothers-in-law, Gilbert Crowson and Chess Rainey.
