Service Thursday for Morgan Cole

Funeral services for Morgan Alexis Cole, a Durant resident, formerly of Coalgate will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Linton Gymnasium in Coalgate with Bro. David Unsell officiating, assisted by Mr. Charles Canida. Burial will be in Lonestar Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Morgan was born August 29, 1996 to Larry and Rita (Possa) Cole at Ada, OK and passed away July 1, 2019 at Dallas, TX at the age of 22 years, 10 months and 2 days. She attended and graduated from Coalgate High School in 2015 and also attended Murray State College. Morgan was a Daycare Worker and enjoyed children, loved her nieces and nephews. She loved hanging out with family, friends and going on adventures.

Survivors include her mother, Rita Cole of Durant; Mom, Marsha Burgess of Coalgate; siblings, Eric Cole of Bells, TX, Aaron Cole of Sherman, TX, Adam Cole and wife Brittany, Mia Laake and husband Dillon and Mariah Brazeal, all of Coalgate; nephews and nieces, Landon Cole of Sherman, TX, Aubrey Cole and Syrena Cole, both of Bells, TX, Tate Cole and Shelly Cole, both of Sherman, TX, and Myleigh Brazeal of Coalgate; Aunts, Pat McClay and Toni Plick, both of Philadelphia, Vonda Cole of Idabel, OK; Great aunt, Maggie Anderson of Coalgate; sister-in-law, Samantha Minor and husband Billy of Sherman, TX, along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cole; paternal and maternal grandparents and numerous uncles and aunts.

Casketbearers will be Brandon Courson, Landon Cole, David Cagle, Lucas Ridley, Gaven Ott, Colton Walker and Brandon Lawson. Honorary casketbearers will be Class of 2015, Coalgate Cheerleaders, Tate Cole and Shelly Cole.
