Service Saturday for Sheila Ann Helvey

Sheila Ann Helvey passed away suddenly September 13, 2019 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born in Sherman, Texas September 22, 1944 to Peggy (McInnes) Helvey and C.A. Helvey. Sheila was passionate about music attending college through a music scholarship.

She moved with her mother Peggy Helvey to Gallup, New Mexico when she was 18, where she continued playing piano and teaching. Mid 90’s she moved to Tucson, Arizona moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico 2004.

Shelia spent over 30 years working in the medical insurance field, retiring in 2009. Sheila had one daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Helvey-Martinello, one grandson Alan Joseph Martinello and son-in-law Albert Joseph Martinello. She was very active in the preaching and teaching work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  

Services are planned for Oct 5, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A graveside service with be held Oct 12, 2019 11:00 am at the Coalgate Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made at JW.ORG to assist with the Worldwide Work.
