Service held for Nancy Lister

Funeral services for Nancy Marie (Darling) Lister, an Ada resident, were held Monday, May 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Larry Luman officiating. Burialwas in Coalgate Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Nancy was born May 15, 1957 to Morris and Neolia Fern (Lynch) Darling at Antler, OK and passed away May 23, 2019 at Ada, OK at the age of 62 years and 8 days. She attended and

graduated from Coalgate High School and received a bachelor’s degree from ECU in accounting. Nancy married Garry Robert Lister. He preceded her in death. She was a CPA Auditor for Saunder’s and Saunder’s and Associates of Ada, OK. Nancy enjoyed traveling, books, green house gardening and plants.

Survivors include a son, Bryan Sears and wife Vickie of Atoka; grandsons, Terrance Brubaker of Atoka and Peyton Cole Sears of AR; sisters, Dora Leuty of Atoka, Debra Lamb and husband Tod of Madill, OK, Mary Sue Powell of Coalgate and Marcella Hooko of Tulsa, OK; brother, Donald Darling of Farris, OK; along with numerous other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris James and Neolia Fern (Lynch) Darling; husband, Garry Robert Lister; and brother, Robert Keith Darling.

Casketbearers were Jimmie Holder, Bryan Sears, Matthew Hampton, Michael Hampton, Seth Hampton, Bryan Layton, and Jimmie Holder, Jr.
