Service held for Mary “Luksi” Roberts

A private family graveside service for Mary “Luksi” Lee (Anderson) Roberts, a Coalgate resident, will be held at Lone Star Cemetery in Coalgate, OK with Pastor David Unsell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate, OK.

Mrs. Roberts was born February 18, 1952 to Willie and Maggie Mae (Hall) Anderson at Coalgate, OK and passed away April 18, 2020 at Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 68 years and 2 months. She attended and graduated from Olney High School and married Nelson Wayne Roberts, Jr. on April 30, 1971. He preceded her in death May 24, 2006. Mary was a homemaker and home health provider. She was a member of the Coalgate Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Choctaw Senior Citizens. Mary enjoyed collecting figurines, going to yard sales and the Choctaw Community Fitness Center. Her greatest joy was her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her mother, Mag gie Anderson of Coalgate; sisters, Jeanette Anderson and Vickie Anderson, both of Coalgate; brothers, Gary Anderson and wife Regina of Ada and David Anderson and Patti of Latta, OK; nephews, Ronnie Anderson and wife Ashley, Donnie Anderson and son Easton all of Coalgate; Sterling Stick of Ada, David Scott, Zane Scott, Keyra Scott and Alisha Scott, all of Durant, OK; nieces, Enessa Scott and husband James of Durant, Thea Swinford and husband Travis, and Dohna Logan and husband Carl all of Ada, OK; along with many dearly loved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Wayne Roberts, Jr.; father, Willie Anderson; sister, Ida Anderson; brother, Aaron Don Anderson; and brother-in-law, Don Roberts.
