Service held for Justin “Pete” Parker
Funeral services for Justin “Pete” Troy Parker, a Coalgate resident, were held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Stonewall with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Burial was in Centrahoma Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Justin was born April 28, 1977 to Rodger Eddie and Judy Paulette (Cog-burn) Parker at Ada, OK and passed away September 3, 2018 at Tulsa, OK at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 6 days. He attended Centrahoma School and graduated from Tupelo High School. Justin worked for Ken Beam Construction as a heavy equipment operator, which he loved. Everyone that knew Justin knew of his love and compassion for his dogs and horses. Justin enjoyed raising children, even if they weren’t his own. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Lisa Tisdell; parents, James and Judy Parker; father, Rodger Eddie Parker; children, Hunter Parker and wife, Bethany, Fisher Parker and Troy Parker; siblings, Wally Parker and Kerrie Roberson, Clark Parker and Christy Lemons, Sheila Roberson and husband Dave, Mark Parker and wife Shannon,
Sheri Collins and husband James and Marcy Williams and husband Mike; step-sisters, Amy Cog-burn, and Wanda Fewell and husband Shawn; sister-in-law, Melesa Parker; special uncle, Robert Cog-burn; eighteen nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Lee Parker; step-sister, Susan Cogburn; grandfathers, Clark Andy Cogburn and Lee James Parker; grandmothers, Jewell Francis Cogburn and Virgie Pauline Parker; niece, Courtney Nicole Parker.
Casket bearers were Wally Parker, Larame Adams, Justin Bills, David Johnson, Randy Davidson, and John McKay. Honorary casketbearers were Jason Cagle, Danny Johnson, Todd Curry, Lee Beatty, and Larry Howard.
