Service held for John David Andrews

Graveside services for John David Andrews, a Midwest City, OK resident, were held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Cemetery with Jim Baxter officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Andrews was born October 26, 1956 to Bob and Tome Andrews at Yokohama, Japan and passed away August 27, 2020 at Midwest City at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 1 day. He attended and graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1974. John was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed gardening, shooting and collecting guns, and was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Survivors include his aunts, Margaret Andrews, Betty Andrews, both of Oklahoma City, June Entz and Beth Andrews, both of Hinton, OK; along with numerous cousins and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Andrews; mother, Tome Andrews; and paternal grandparents, John and Mary Andrews.

Casketbearers were Jim Baxter, Justin Baxter, Sam Baxter, Melvin Bussell, Charles Eckroat, Billy Newcomb, and Clark Chambers. Honorary bearer was Skip Delsigne.
