Service to be held for Glenney Dale Madison

Funeral services for Glenney Dale Madison, a Kiowa resident, were held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating. Burial was in Centrahoma Cemetery with Browns Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Dale was born on April 17, 1958, to Charles Foster and Lillian Laverne (Redwine) Madison at Ardmore, Oklahoma. He passed away on September 4, 2024, at Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 18 days.

Dale attended school at Fillmore and Milburn until they moved to Broken Bow at the age of 16. He broke and trained horses while he was a young boy and began working at Well Houser for 10 or more years. Dale married Margo Williams on October 5, 1989, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. After marriage, they moved to Oklahoma City where he worked as a construction foreman for 10 or more years Dale was involved in the cleanup of the mass casualties of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. He received a certificate from the Governor for his honorable service. Dale and Margo moved to Centrahoma where he was a truck driver for Black Hawk, BOB and Ada Energy until his retirement.

He loved to hunt, fish, go dancing and make his own fishing traps. His favorite times were spent cooking for his family and friends. Dale was deeply loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include wife, Margo Williams of the home in Kiowa, OK; sons, Glenney Dale Madison Jr. of Granite, OK, Jimmy Don Williams of Tribbey, OK, Christopher Adam Madison and wife Randi, Michael Scott of Holly Creek, OK, and Justin Dale Madison of Centrahoma, OK; grandchildren, Shawn, Makayla, Jessie, Jerric, Rio, Joe, Kevin, Lil Bo, Alexis, Remmington, Ramsey, Arron and Ellexys; brother, Ricky Madison and wife Peggy of Mart, TX; like a daughter, Kristi Daniels of Kiowa, OK; nephews, Jeremy Madison, Jason Nathaniel, Michael, Scotty Jr., Tony, Tim, Big Justin and Bo Gold; nieces, Misty Madison, Angelina, Sondra, Karen, Donna Kay and Carla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Foster and Lillian Laverne (Redwine) Madison; brothers, Charles Wayne Madison and Charles Boyd Madison and sister, Charline Madison.

Casketbearers were, Justin Dale Madison, Jimmy Don Williams, Christopher Adam Madison, Michael Scott Madison, Mike Lee, Justin Scott Madison, Nathaniel Madison and Timothy Madison. Honorary bearers were Michael Nail, Junior Madison, Tony Madison, Scotty Madison, James Hunter II, James Hunter, Jr., Thomas Gold, Bo Gold and Kyle Martin.
