Roger Dale Cunningham

Visitation for Roger Dale Cunningham, and Ada resident, formerly of Coalgate, was held Monday evening, September 5, 2022 at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Roger was born February 8, 1961 to George Washington and Emmalee (Woodell) Cunningham at Pauls Valley, OK and passed away August 31, 2022 at Ada, OK at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 23 days. He graduated from Olney High School class of ‘79. Roger married Jamie Jannette Price on June 27, 2016 at Ft. Smith, AR. He was a heavy equipment operator, a police officer, correction officer, mechanic, welder and dozer operator. Roger was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking. Roger loved playing with his grand-children.

Survivors include his wife, JamieJannetteCunningham of the home in Ada, OK; sons, Zack Cunningham and wife Brittney, Shawn Cunningham and wife Sarisa all of Coalgate, Tanner Cunningham and wife Caroline of Enid, OK; step-children, Jaymin Riley and Megan, Jaydin Riley and wife Miranda, Jaylee Riley and Douglas, all of Ada, OK, Jaycen Riley of Coalgate, OK and Jaynie of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Joesie, Jacklyn, Trison, Lyla, Adaline, Kamber, Reed and Paiten; mother-in-law, Bette Price of Coalgate; dear friends, Ron and Riley Daniel; beloved fur babies, JoJo and Jake; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Emmalee (Woodell) Cunningham; brothers, Charles Cunningham and James Cunningham and father-in-law James Price.
