Patsy Ruth Lake

Graveside service for Patsy Ruth Lake, a Coalgate resident were held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Coalgate Cemetery with SteveThomas officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lake was born April 15, 1932 to Aurther and Flora (Lorrance) Woods at Bisbee, AZ and passed away December 17, 2024 at Coalgate at the age of 92 years, 8 months and 2 days. She graduated from Bisbee High School. Patsy was a Director of Housing and Urban Development at the Levy Annex for many years. She married Kenneth Pat Thomas and from that marriage they were blessed with two sons. After his passing, she married Jim Lake. He also preceded her in death. Patsy was of the Assembly of God faith. She was strong in her faith. Patsy enjoyed cooking and collecting jewelry.

Survivors include her sons, Steve Thomas and wife Laurie of Lynden, WA and Ronnie Thomas and wife Laura of Richardson, TX; granddaughters, Rebecca Thomas and Beth Thomas of Richardson, TX; brother, Kenneth Woods of Silver City, NM. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Pat Thomas and Jim Lake; parents, Aurther and Flora (Lorrance) Woods; sister, Christine Goodall and husband, John and sisterin- law, Rosetta Woods.

Casketbearers were family and friends.
