Funeral services for Lyndon “Punkin” Bruce Davidson, a Clarita resident, will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Mitchell Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery in Clarita with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Lyndon was born on May 14, 1956, to Johnie Lee and Mary Magdalene (Gwinn) Davidson, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed away on February 2, 2025, at Oklahoma City, at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 19 days. Lyndon graduated from Olney High School in the Class of 1974. He was a foreman and an operator for pipeline and bridge construction. Lyndon was of the Holiness faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, checking his cattle and watching OU football games. Lyndon loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Heath Davidson and wife Kimmy of Clarita, OK, Greg Davidson and wife Krystal of Atoka, OK, Lyndi Waggaman and husband Taylor of Harrah, OK; grandchildren, Hunter Davidson, Briar Davidson, Rainey Davidson all of Coalgate, OK, Tegan Davidson of Clarita, OK, Kenlee Davidson of Atoka, OK, Taylyn Waggaman and Ryder Waggaman both of Harrah, OK; step children, Sterling Finchum and wife Sammi
Kildow of Cherokee, OK, Terrence Finchum and wife Brooke of Edmond, OK; step grandchildren, Alissa Pfleider, Leighton Finchum, Heighlon Finchum all of Cherokee, OK, Solomon Pierce Finchum, Bodie Rhys Finchum both of Edmond, OK, Tinlee Ray of Stillwater, OK, Jerrid Hobbie of Calera, OK, Kevin Hobbie of Savanna, OK, Justin Hobbie of Kenefic, OK; brothers, Keary Davidson and wife Delores of Tupelo, OK, Alton Davidson of Olney, OK, Ray Davidson and wife Yvonne of Centrahoma, OK, Howard Davidson and wife Sharon of Clarita, OK and Leslie Davidson of Phillips, OK; sister-inlaw, Susie Davidson of Clarita, OK; aunt, Leota Nickell of Moore, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dearly loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mary Davidson; brothers, Tommie Davidson, Clayton Davidson and Lew Allen Davidson; sister, Mary Annette Davidson; and his wife, Kim Finchum.
Casketbearers will be Kristen Davidson, Shawn Davidson, Brad Davidson, Randy Davidson, Conner Davidson, Bailey Harrison, Seth Humphrey, and Ramsey Burris. Honorary casketbearers will be Don Lawrence, Tim Brown, Rick Nelson, Cletus Kitchens, Jerry Johnson, Larry Treas, Dustin Lambert, Ronnie Davis, and Joe Battles.
