Our sympathy is extended to the family of Lisa Dorlette Foster

Funeral services for Lisa Dorlette Foster, a lifelong Bromide resident, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday (today), June 19, 2024 at the Wapanucka High School New Gym in Wapanucka with Rev. Tim Carter and Cheyenne Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wapanucka, OK.

A Celebration of Life Party will be held after the service at the Clarita Community Building for friends and family. Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Ms. Foster was born March 18, 1963 to Medford “Pete” Lee and Ethel Margie (Plumley) Foster at Ada, OK and passed away June 15, 2024 at Durant, OK at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 28 days. She attended Bromide and Wapanucka Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1981. Lisa then attended Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she obtained some credits.

She worked many years for Johnston County Assessor’s Office, worked at Ada and Tishomingo Hospitals and retired from the Chickasaw’s Clinic in Tishomingo. Lisa was affiliated with the Bromide Baptist Church and for the last several years attended Wapanucka Baptist Church.

She was right in the middle of her kids and grandkids activities, from rodeoing, showing cattle and hogs, and watching all sports they were involved in. She liked riding horses “junkin” photography, and buying chickens. Lisa especially loved her horse “Big Girl” and fishing with her grandsons.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel Margie (Plumley) Foster of Bromide; daughters, Kimberly Davidson and husband Heath of Clarita, OK, and Jaisa Daniels and husband Blake of Tishomingo; grandchildren, Tinlee Ray, Tegan Davidson, Hunter Davidson, Briar Davidson, Rainey Davidson, Brandt Daniels, and Taos Daniels; sisters, Kelli Brooks and husband Tommy of Wapanucka, Kristi Green of Bromide and Kim Wood of Ada; brothers, Steve Foster and wife Lisa and Stacy Foster and wife Kim all of Bromide; bonus grandchildren, Benni Stanley, July Stanley, Stella Stanley, Sawyer Stanley, Blaine Coates, Raynee Coates, Collin Sartin, Pakus Sartin, Cloey Sartin and Rocker Sartin; bonus children, Ashley Coates, Kaci Stanley and Wes Sartin; uncles, Pete Plumley, Leray Plumley and Ronnie Plumley all of OKC; along with special friend, Phyllis Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Medford “Pete” Lee Foster; sisters Angel Sartin and Debbie Parnell; brothers-inlaw, Pat Wood, Denny Hilburn, and Guy Sartin; friend, Sharlee Rhea; aunts, Edna Plumley and Violet Hohenhaus; and uncles, John K. Foster, Tom Patterson and Joe Plumley.

Casketbearers will be Jared Truett, Kendel Foster, Matt Dean, Jon Fortner, Ramsey Burris, and Bobby Martin. Honorary bearers will be Eddie Brown, Roy Deck, Edgar Collins, Cheyenne Stanley, Zac Coates, and all of her nephews.
