He never met a stranger and was very good at remembering names and never forgot anyone. When he was not working, his most treasured times were being around his family and especially his grandkids. Guy cherished riding a good horse and seeing new country. He would often debate about politics. He enjoyed going to rodeos to watch his grandkids and their baseball and softball games. Guy liked to team rope and ranch rodeos. He was the 1991 ACRRA World Champion Ranch Rodeo and the Team DOK. Guy liked to have a good time wherever he went and was usually cutting up.
