Our sympathy is extended to the family of Daniel Wade Hampton

Funeral services for Daniel Wade Hampton, a Coalgate resident, will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Claude Lovett officiating. Family night will be Thursday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in Moore Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Daniel was born October 19, 1973 to Johnny Mack Hampton and Dora Lee (Darling) Leuty at Talihina, OK and passed away January 8, 2025 at Oklahoma City at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 20 days. Daniel graduated from Tushka High School in the Class of 1992. He worked in bridge construction and enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and baseball and listening to music.

Survivors include his mother, Dora Lee (Darling) Leuty of Farris, OK; father, Johnny Hampton and wife Diane of Coalgate; brothers, Michael Hampton and wife Genise of Choctaw, OK and Matt Hampton and wife Sarah of Olney, OK; sister, Melinda Hampton and partner Bobby Ray of Oklahoma City; nephew, Seth Hampton and wife Renee of Edmond, OK; niece, Shyenna Ivie and husband Jason of Liberty, NC; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Morris and Fern Darling and paternal grandparents, Uel and Irene Hampton.

Casketbearers will be Matt Hampton, Michael Hampton, Seth Hampton, Bobby Ray, Jerry Nanney and Scott Beam.
