Our sympathies to the families of Susan Alice Baugher

Visitation for Susan Alice Baugher, a Caney, OK resident, were held Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK. Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service.

Mrs. Baugher was born July 7, 1951 to Hayden and Mascal Joy (Fryer) Willis at Caney, OK and passed away August 31, 2021 at Denison, TX at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 24 days. She gradated from Caney High School and as a bookkeeper at First United Bank. Susan was a Jehovah Witness and loved sewing and working in her flower bed. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Michele Deaton and husband Keith of Bentley, OK, Marty Wafford and husband Michael of Clarita, OK; son,Matt Workman and wife Ginia of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Kristen Loyd and husband Sean, Shane Hutson and wife Lauren, Daniele Deaton and Luke Rector, Cash and Lainee Wafford, Colton and Cassidy Workman; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Gus Hutson, Kynsingten Loyd and Lucie Rector; brothers, Sonny Willis, Bo Willis, Eddie Willis, Oscar Willis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many other friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayden and Mascal Joy (Fryer) Willis; brothers, Benny Willis and Larry Willis; and nephews, Lil Sonny Willis and Rusty Willis.
