Funeral services for Patricia Ann (Estes) Hampton, a Cottonwood resident, were held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Jim Lewis officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Pat was born May 22, 1944 to Strawder Hershel and Pearl Pauline (Jobe) Estes at Ada, OK and passed away April 14, 2021 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 23 days. She was a homemaker and a home health provider and married Richard Lee Hampton on June 11, 1988 in Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2010. Pat was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church and loved her dogs and plants. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Todd Coats and wife Stacia of Olney, OK, Rick Hampton and wife Sheryl of Rush Springs, OK, Robert Hampton of Cottonwood, Steven Hampton of Foster, OK, Russell Hampton and wife Debbie of Asher, OK and Janean Vickman and husband Willie of OKC; twenty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Strawder Hershel Estes; mother, Pearl Pauline (Jobe) Estes; husband, Richard Lee Hampton and son, Michael Dewayne Coats.

Casketbearers were Michael Hampton, Keith Hampton, John Hampton, Jeffrey Hampton, Robert Hampton and Russell Hampton. Honorary bearers were Olan Rodgers, Ronnie Hampton, William Rodgers, and Joseph Rodgers.
