Lorene Lavada Little-Nash

Funeral services for Lorene Lavada (Pollock) Little-Nash, a Kiowa resident, were held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Buddy W. Little officiating. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funreal Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Little-Nash was born March 8, 1924 to Sam Cecil and Fannie Ruth (Jeffrey) Pollock at Kiowa, OK and passed away October 28, 2022 at Warner, OK at the age of 98 year, 7 months nd 20 days. She attended Kiowa Schools. Lorene married Woodrow Wilson Little December 19, 1943 at Wardville, OK. He preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Daniel Aaron Nash December 8, 2008 at McAlester, OK and he preceded her in death in 2013. Lorene attended Kiowa Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Cecil and Fannie Ruth (Jeffery) Pollock; husbands, Woodrow Wilson Little and Daniel Aaron Nash; son, Kenneth Ray Little; brothers, Jack Washington Pollock and Oliver Pollock; sisters, Leona Frazier, Ada Naomi Pollock, and Ida Belle Pollock; brothers-in-law, sisters-inlaw, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Casketbearers were Buddy Little, Jr., Dean Miller, Dakota Miller, Zachary Miller, Donnie Taylor and Dewayne Brown. Honoray bearers were Doyle Mitchell and all of her senior citizen friends.
