Lola Belle Hansell
Graveside services for Lola Belle (Compton) Hansell, a Centrahoma resident, were held Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Cemetery with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hansell was born October 7, 1947 to Mitchell Dee and Retha Letrica (Furey) Compton at Coalgate and passed away December 6, 2023 at her home in Centrahoma at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 29 days. She married Ronnie Hansell on December 20, 1987 at Olney, OK. He preceded her in death. Lola was a certified nurses’ aide and home health aide for many years. She enjoyed hunting, gardening, and going garage selling. Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren. Lola loved taking care of her family. Her smile and generous heart will be remembered always.
Survivors include her children, Harold Latham Jr., Tina Horn and husband Tim all of Lehigh, and Gordon Latham of Centrahoma; grandchildren, Lindsay Carroll and husband Sammy of Atoka, Phoenix Oscar Taylor IV, Nicholas and Trista Horn, all of Lehigh, Tiffany Krebs and husband Joseph of Clarita, Chet Latham of Atoka, Garrett, Jasmine, Gunner, Hope and Faith Latham of Centrahoma; great-grandchildren, Dallas Krebs of Clarita, Cooper, Abel and Sadie Carroll all of Atoka; siblings, PaulaAdams and husband Arnold of Coalgate, Robert Compton of Centrahoma; stepchildren, Debbie Horn and Joey Horn; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hansell; parents, Mitchell and Retha Compton; brothers, Gene Compton, Leon Compton, Donald Compton, and Paul Compton; and daughterin- law, Helen Latham.
Casketbearers were Arnold Adams, Jr., Mason Adams, Nathan Hogue, Tristen Hogue, Dallas Richmond, Landon Richmond and Brandon Richmond. Honorary bearers were Donald Compton, Bud Ray McCarty, Bobby McCarty, Joe Maxey, Jimmy Maxey, and Bobby Burrough.
