Lenora Nadeen Donnelly

Graveside services for Lenora Nadeen Donnelly, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Cemetery with Bro. Richard Magby officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Donnelly was born June 21, 1928 to Fred and Lacey (Johnson) Sweeten at Wesley, OK and passed away January 12, 2023 at Coalgate at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 22 days. She attended Wesley and Lehigh High School and married Haskell Donnelly. They spent many years together. Nadine was a store owner of Owl’s Grocery in Lehigh, OK. She was a member of the Lehigh Baptist Church. She loved tending to her cattle.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Carolyn Sweeten of Lehigh, OK; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lacey (Johnson) Sweeten; husbands, Jack Barrett and Haskell Donnelly; brothers, Roy Sweeten, Lowell Sweeten, Junior Sweeten, and Berthel Sweeten; and sisters, Izeta Estes and Minnie Repass. Casketbearers were Gerald Sweeten, Mike Repass, Chris Repass, Roy Yarbrough, Colin Heathcock and AJ Horn.
