Kitty Lou (Cullum) Tubby

Memorial service for Kitty Lou (Cullum) Tubby, a Coalgate resident, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tubby was born March 28, 1955 to Elvin Cullum, Jr. and Geraldine (Vanzant) Preston at Sallisaw, OK and passed away January 12, 2024 at Tulsa, OK at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 15 days. She graduated from Coalgate High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University. Kitty was a registered nurse retiring in 2009. She like to read, travel and go diving. Kitty enjoyed playing pool and Scattergories.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Todd and husband Patrick Todd, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Naomi Rivers, Elizabeth Todd, and Patrick Todd, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; stepmother, Marsha Cullum of Sallisaw, OK; stepsister, Amy Rogers Morgan of Sallisaw, OK; step-brothers, Gary Don Cullum of Sallisaw, OK, Gregory Cullum of Ft. Gibson, OK, Bradley Cullum of San Antonio, TX; cousin, Ritha Citron Littell of Ada, OK; friends, Robbin Lewis of Tupelo, OK and Barbara Carlisle of Shreveport, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elvin Cullum, Jr.; mother, Geraldine Preston; step-father, Larry Preston; and greatgrandparents, Raymond and Katherine Vanzant.
