James Lowell Ennis

A memorial service for James Lowell Ennis of Coalgate was held Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Dick Sowder officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

James was born January 31, 1951 to Harrison and Juanita Lucille (De-skin) Ennis at Coalgate, OK and passed away February 22, 2019 at Phillips, OK at the age of 68 years and 22 days. He graduated Coalgate High School and attended some college and was a pipe liner. James was a

having U S Army. He married Zinda Zane Thompson on April 27, 2007 at Phillips, OK. James was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed taking care of his chickens, dogs and bottle feeding calves.

Survivors include his wife, Zinda Zane Ennis of Phillips, OK; son, Jason Ennis of Oklahoma City; stepdaughters, Lindsay Gaylor and husband David of Coalgate and Atlanta Graves and husband William of Tushka, OK; brother, Dale Ennis and wife Paula of Coalgate; sisters, Virginia Cometti and husband Frank of Coalgate and Sherry Lefevre and husband Phillip of Coal-gate; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy Ennis and Ronnie Ennis.
