Funeral services for Isabela Miriam McPherson-Moore, a Stringtown OK resident, a lifelong Atoka resident except for two years in Laredo, TX, were held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Atoka First Baptist Church with Coby Sherill, Bro. Larry Luman, Bro. Ed Miller and Warden Margaret Green officiating. Interment was in Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements.

Isabela was born April 16, 2003 to Mark and Cathy Elaine (McCabe) McPherson at Phoenix, AZ and passed away September 15, 2024 at her home in Stringtown, OK at the age of 21 years, 4 months and 30 days. She attended Atoka Public Schools and worked as a cashier and night manager at Pilot Travel for two years and had started work at MacAlford Correctional Center in food service in February 2024. Isabela married Justin Moore September 2, 2023 at Atoka. She was affiliated with Atoka First Baptist Church, was active in the youth group and was involved in Go Missions from Tulsa. Isabela attended Shepherd’s Fold Youth Camp for the past 10 years in Claremore, OK, was an avid Horsewoman, involved in Atoka Trail Riders, instructed in pole bending and barrel racing. She helped many youth with their horses and play dates. Isabela was a horse rescuer and learned to treat horses, dogs, and many animals. She was active throughout her school years in 4-H and FFA. She won blue ribbons for sheep showing and one Grand Champion. Isabela excelled in baking, soap making and all things creative.

Survivors include her husband of the home in Stringtown, Justin Moore; parent, Mark and Cathy Elaine (McCabe) McPherson of Atoka; siblings, twin Isaac McPherson of Coalgate, Ian McPherson of Atoka, Maigan McPherson of Tahlequah, OK, Erin Eaves and husband Ryan, Evangeline McPherson, all of Atoka, Ivy Moshier and husband John of Phoenix, AZ, and Mark McPherson and wife Maria of San Antonio, TX; niece and nephews, Eli Eaves, Eden Eaves, Emery Eaves, Ava McPherson, Levi McPherson, Raya McPherson Wilson, Krista Jones and Alyssa Jones; aunts and uncles, Kim and Georgie McPherson of Edmond, OK, Kerry Morris, Michael and Jana McPherson all of Ardmore, Verne and Rosemary McCabe of Broken Arrow, OK and Brad and Karen Burrows of Atoka, OK; parentsin- law, Walter Roebuck and Lucinda Roebuck; siblings-inlaw, Brooke Hall and husband Chris, Nick Roebuck and wife Robin, and Macy Roebuck; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and JoAnn McCabe and Gloria McPherson.

Casketbearers were Ian McPherson, Isaac McPherson, Eli Eaves, Drake Smith, Ryan Eaves, and Mark McPherson, Jr. Serving as honorary bearers were Atoka Police officers, Choctaw Tribal officers, Harvey Dale Mayo, Zoey Zoglman, Bel’s Girls, Corvette Day, Hayleigh Bond, Hunter Donihoo, Bailey Hokett, Leila Herring, Candi Jacobs and Jesse Moore.
