Gary Don McCoy

Funeral services for Gary Don McCoy were Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK. Interment followed at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker, OK. Visitation started at 1:00 PM the day of the service.

Gary Don McCoy, 76, of Edmond, OK, passed away December 4, 2022. Gary was born May 4, 1946 to George Washington and Violet (Clanton) McCoy in Oklahoma City.

Prior to moving to Edmond to live with his niece Elaine and her husband Rick, Gary lived in Coalgate for over 20 years. Gary was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and was very active in his church. He was a wonderful son too, taking care of his parents most of his life. Gary is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Leon McCoy and his wife Sandra; and two brothersin- law John Lewis Sawyer and Wilbur Dale McLachlan.

He is survived by his sisters, Vinita Sawyer and Donna Joy McLachlan; five nieces; six nephews; many great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
