David Lee Smith

Graveside services for David Lee Smith, a Coalgate resident, will be held Wednesday (today), March 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Centrahoma Cemetery in Centrahoma with Pastor Eddie Hogue officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith was born March 11, 1967 to Jimmy Dale and Mary Leota (Osban) Smith at Oklahoma City and passed away March 25, 2022 at Ada, OK at the age of 55 years and 14 days. He graduated from Tupelo High School in the Class of 1986 and was a machinist at DuAnn Company.

Survivors include brothers, Jimmy Dale Smith and wife Melisa of California and Gordon Smith and wife Kelly of Coalgate; sisters, Debra Bailey and husband Gary of Ada, Sandra Stith and husband Bill of Tupelo and Judy Wallace of Coalgate; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Dale and Mary Leota (Osban) Smith; brother, Claude Smith; niece, Amanda Smith; nephews, Larry Smith and James Baldwin; and brother-in-law, John Wallace.

Casketbearers will be Troy Blevins, T. J. Blevins, Richard Roebuck, Nick Lee, Gary Humphrey, and Claude Smith. Honorary bearers will be Jeffrey Smith, Johnny Hogue, Johnny Blankenship, Gary Bailey, John David Smith, and Jeffrey Smith.
