Catherine Susan Eden

Catherine Susan (Stark) Eden, a Coalgate resident, was born May 2, 1934 to Charles Forrest and Isabelle Masie (Roberts) Stark at Susanville, CA and passed away May 17, 2021 at Atoka, OK at the age of 87 years and 15 days. She married Fred Leon Eden and they sent 43 years together before his passing. Catherine was a home health provider and worked in housekeeping at the Coalgate hospital ad Nursing Home. She also worked as a seamstress at the Wrangler Plant in Coalgate. Catherine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coalgate. She liked arts and crafts and loved working in her garden.

Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Raue and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Carla Johnson and husband Raymond of Atoka, OK; sons, Terry Eden and wife Sunny of Chickasha, OK and Charles Eden and wife Sandra of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Tracey Thompson and husband John, Theresa Anderson and husband Terry, Mike Raue and wife Ashley all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Damon Eden of Lehigh, OK, Jennifer Yates of Caney, OK, Tiffany Hockett and Ashley Hyde, both of Atoka, OK; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Lola McKay of Tuolumne, CA, Gloria Dose of Marysville, CA; brother, Evert Stark of Marysville, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Forrest and Isabelle Masie (Roberts) Stark; husband, Fred Leon Eden; son, Don Henry; brothers, Sonny Stark, Larry Stark Dick Stark and Russell Stark; and sisters, June Pritchard and Lila Stark.

Brown’s Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
