Cassie Ozina (Cox) Hensley

Graveside services for Cassie Ozina (Cox) Hensley, a Lehigh, OK resident, were held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Lehigh Cemetery with Pastor Richard Magby officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hensley was born January 12, 1936 to Dee Emerson and Emma Ree (Sands) Cox at Tulsa, OK and passed away July 9, 2024 at Atoka, OK at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 27 days. She was a loving homemaker. Cassie married Marvin Fredrick Hensley on June 27, 1950 at Coalgate and they were blessed with 67 years together before his passing on August 3, 2017. Cassie was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping and yard selling. Above all she loved being with her family with all her heart.

Survivors include her children, Larry Hensley and wife Rose, Carol Bailey and husband David, Mike Hensley and Crystal Cosper all of Lehigh and Joyce Partin and husband Glendon of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Cassandra Bailey, Chris Horn, Dee Hensley, Joe Don Partin, Gary Hensley, Carly Hensley and Prissy Partin; twenty grandchildren; five greatgreat- grandchildren; special sister-in-law Nell Hensley of Lehigh, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Fredrick Hensley; parents, Dee Emerson and Emma Ree (Sands) Cox; infant son, Gary Arvin Hensley; brother, Donnie Cox; daughter-in-law, Pam Hensley; and brother-in-law, Ottie Hensley.

Casketbearers were Alvin Pebworth, Buddy Cottrell, Roy Yarbrough, Dee Hensley, Gary Hensley, and Joe Don Partin. Honorary bearers were Ronnie Franklin, Doug Isbell, Alfred Horn, Chris Horn, Glendon Partin, Mark Bumgarner, Richard Hill, Colin Heathcock and Tony Airington.
