Carolyn Sue Yarbrough Passes Away

Funeral services for Carolyn “Sue” Yarbrough a Coalgate OK resident were held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Brown’s Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma with Richard Magby. Interment was in Lehigh Cemetery in Lehigh, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born August 30, 1956, to Leroy Gordon and Juanita Marie (Cottrell) Franklin, at Coalgate, OK and passed away September 26, 2024 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 68 years and 27 days. She attended Lehigh School and was a homemaker.

Carolyn married Richard Louis Yarbrough on September 13, 1972 at Sherman, TX. She attended Lehigh Baptist Church, enjoyed bingo, spending time with family and raising her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Richard Louis Yarbrough of the home, children, Janice Stover and husband Jason of Lehigh, Roy Yarbrough and wife Angie of Lehigh, Anita Yarbrough and husband Noble Coslow III of Lehigh, Timothy Yarbrough of Lehigh, Vickie Yarbrough of Lehigh and many grandchildren and great grandchildren: Brothers, David Franklin and wife Sally of Lehigh Sally of Lehigh, Ronnie Franklin and wife Rhonda of Lehigh: Sister, Nancy Johnson and husband Billy if Coalgate, along with many other dearly loved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Gordon and Juanita Marie (Cottrell) Franklin, sisters, Kay Yarbrough, Linda Thorpe, granddaughter, Jodi Yarbrough and great -granddaughter, Tulsi Courson.

Casketbearers were Paul Delozier, Mike Delozier, Willard Delozier, Lucas Franklin, Dylan Franklin, Dino Franklina. Serving as honorary casketbearers were Joe Horn, Mike Hensley, Devin English, Brent Johnson, Buddy Cottrell, Kennet McIninch, Dee Hensley.
