These students are actively participating in the GT program that the elementary school offers. They participated in an academic meet on February 13 in Homer. They played in a fourth-grade league, but Emerson’s team is comprised primarily of third graders. Sadly, they lost both games that day, but they are gaining valuable experience and becoming familiar with the rules and etiquette of the competitions.
